SO I’ve done it. I made the switch. And much faster than I thought I would (as in today, MONDAY instead of my anticipated reveal…Friday). I am now the proud owner of a BLOGGER blog. Drum roll please…

I am kinda sad to be saying goodbye to Fizzbo-blog, but at the same time I’m excited to take things in a different direction. I’ll continue with my postings about Fizzie, but expect a heaping spoonful of randomness on the side. Actually, make that  a massive bowl-full of randomness on the side. 

Oh and if I end up hating Blogger, prepare yourselves for another switcheroo

I seriously can’t wait for my whole WEEK off!!! I realized the other day that I haven’t taken a whole week off of work since my European extravaganza in September 2007. That is nuts!! Now that I am full time, I am required to take a consecutive week and I am more than happy to oblige Seriously I can’t believe I have worked at least some portion of every week since Sept 2007. This girl needs a BREAK! In the mean time I’m off to do some major damage control in my work inbox. I am NOT looking forward to the 400 emails I will certainly find upon my return.

Oh and p.s. I have some AWESOME posting coming your way in the next few days. While at home in NC this weekend I was able to look through my Granddad’s old baby books and photo albums. My great-grandmother even made a nice family tree! I can’t wait to post pictures of these amazing finds. There are even pictures of my great-great-great-great-great (I think?) grandparents. My Granddad’s great-great grandparents. Wowzers. Anywho, be on the lookout!

p.s.s. I hope to have the new blog up and running by the end of the week I have made BOTH a new Blogger and a new WordPress blog. So we will see which one I end up going with.

Oh the decisions a girl has to make these days!!

Actually, I am feeling totally frazzled from the Grande non-fat two Equal latte that I am currently consuming. Caffeine doesn’t usually get to me (i.e. I could drink 2 shots of espresso and fall asleep five minutes later) so I am totally confused as to why I feel so weird?!?! Lately I’ve been drinking about 3 lattes a week (am I addicted?) and tend to think that I like the idea of a warm beverage in the morning more than I care about “needing” caffeine.  I started out as a tea fiend (Grande Earl Grey with room for milk) then transitioned to a Chai fanatic (Grande non-fat chai) then got TOTALLY chai-ed out (i.e. I can’t drink it anymore) and now I am a total latte-aholic. Maybe my body just isn’t used to the two shots of espresso I am now downing several times a week. Tea and Chai have a lot less caffeine right?! Bottom line is, I think I need a new drink. Maybe something that will make me feel a lot less frazzled. Help!!

p.s. Blogger site is still under construction so I’ll continue to post here in the mean time.

p.s.s. If I switch drinks @ Starbucks I think I’ll give the baristas a heart attack. They know me as grande-non-fat-two-equal-latte girl… yikes.

Attention all 10-ish or so followers!! I have decided to switch over to Blogger (it is killing me not to be able to have Google Analytics) and…dun dun dun… change the name of the blog!

Do not fret my pet. I am happy about this change and think the new title will fit my blogging style a bit better. Fizzbo will always be a part of my life, just not so much of my blogging one. I’m sure I will continue to post about the randomness that goes down here, but I’ve found myself leaning more towards the random blog-post lifestyle than the home decor/new house transformation one. It is just too hard to focus on one thing!! So, within the next few days I will reveal the new site and even introduce my new Twitter handle. And don’t worry, all the content from Fizzie will be neatly transported over the Blogger..just might take me a while. 

ALSO. If anyone EVER figures out to use Analytics on a wordpress.com blog, holler at a sister.

• 8:30am – Super Irish Breakfast hot tea (1.5 Equals and a dash of milk)
• 9:30am – Yoplait Thick and Creamy Vanialla Yogurt
• 11:00am – Chocolate Chip Cupcake (homemade by co-worker)
• 12:00pm – 1 large slice of Dominos pizza accidently delivered to our office
• 12:12pm – Half a glass of rootbeer.

Needless to say I feel GROSS. Thankfully a lightbulb has gone off in my head. I need to get back on the working-out bandwagon. Immediately. I don’t feel overweight or anything but I haven’t run a SINGLE mile since the Monument Ave 10k at the end of MARCH. Groan.

I have a free membership to a super nice gym (thank you sponsorships) but it is just not convienent to my work or my house. I am so not a morning person so I have nixed driving out there before work but I also can’t bring myself to drive the opposite direction of home after work. Lose lose situation

I really enjoy working out but I am having a hard time bringing myself to do it. My knees have revolted against me on multiple occasions so I have to ease into a routine. Problem is, when I can actually bring myself to the gym or out the front door for a jog, I want to go all out and FEEL like I’m getting a workout. This is not such a good parenting technique for the knees.

But enough excuses. It is time to make a plan and get this workout ball rolling. I vow that after my trip to NC this weekend I am going to look into joining another gym super close to my office. I’ve been a member before but dropped it after I got the free membership and the much nicer gym elsewhere. Hopefully I can use some of my bargaining skills to score a deal and end up on the treadmill by this time next week.

So here’s to toned muscles, stamina, and an overall healthier lifestyle!!!!!

Two things to note here:

1. It is not unusual for cops to walk into the office. Don’t worry, we aren’t an office full of delinquents, we just work closely with Law Enforcement on major fundraising efforts.
2. I am often the brunt of age-related joking around here.

I really don’t mind this teasing, in fact I find it pretty entertaining, but 14 years old??? Really?!?!

Anyways, I have decided to deem Wednesdays (aka Hump Day for those of you still in the stone age ) the day for haiku writing. I am by no means a poet by trade (in fact I find most poetry annoying) but I like the idea of crunching my thoughts into a few 5-7-5 syllable bubbles every now and then. Each week will feature a new topic and one heartfelt haiku. Feel free to leave a comment with a topic of your choice. Today’s topic: Breakfast.
